My name is Alison Brown and I’m a practicing mobile Holistic Therapist working in and around the Littlehampton, West Sussex area. Areas also included – Chichester, Bognor Regis, Arundel, Worthing, East Preston and Angmering. I practice the treatments in your home, to gain the maximum benefit from the treatment, place of work or at my home in Admirals Walk, Littlehampton.
Mine is a holistic approach to treatment and that is that I do not just look at the problem I look at the cause and the therapeutic techniques I have learnt to help with the ‘whole’ of the condition:- Swedish & Body Massage, Aromatherapy, Hot Stone Massage, Indian Head Massage, Reiki, Reflexology, Verticle Reflexology, Hopi Ear Candle (Thermal Auricular Therapy), D-Tox Spa, Bach Flower Remedies, Stress Management all supported by Yoga and nutrition advise.
I genuinely believe in the therapies I practice. I believe that a holistic approach to health does not compete with conventional medicine, but works along side it.
I became involved with complementary therapies back in ’92. I had been suffering with eczema on my hands for 14 years and using steroid creams as my only comfort. Tea Tree was recommended in a hand cream which I used somewhat sceptically and was surprised to find that it cleared in 2 months! From then on I became passionate about complementary therapies and would read anything I could find on the subject. I then trained on a 2 year course at Northbrook College, Worthing for a Diploma in Holistic Therapies and have carried on training while setting up and running my own business, since then training in Chichester, Brighton and Southampton. I have been gaining knowledge since ’92 and experience with running my own business since 2000.
