The Mumpreneurs Networking Club
This is me at the Avisford Hotel on 30th November for The Women of the Year Awards 2012. I had been nominated for the Health Category. I was up against some very good opposition and most of the I knew. I did not win but felt very honored to be nominated. It was a lovely evening and yes that is me in a long dress, the first and probably the last time I wear one!! Fred Dineage was the compere for the evening and there were about 200 ladies in attendance at these awards. It was a case of spot the man!!
On Wednesday 7th November Arundel and Littlehampton Branch of Mumpreneur Networking Club got together at The Crossbush, Arundel to network.
It was a busy morning this morning with 15 mumpreneurs and men!! getting together to network and promote their business. It was fun as usual with lots of business taking place. I was busy demonstrating my hot stones used for massage (after taking them out of a hot flask of water!!! We also had new attendees that I hope become members, but it was great to see new faces there. www.agoodgossip.co.uk
On Wednesday 31st October West Sussex joint branches of the Federation of Small Businesses held a New Members Event and Exhibition at Brinsbury College. This was an opportunity for new members to attend and remind themselves of the benefits of being a member, find out about Policy Issues in West Sussex and what the local branches are campaigning for and also a chance for businesses to exhibit and promote their business. Also of course a chance to network. This event was well attended by 50 members and a presentation was given by myself and Ann Swain on how to present a stand and attract people at an exhibition. Some businesses to do not know how to present their business professionally and attractively !!!!…. they do not worry about that……. The evening was a success and well received by members. I cannot believe this but I have been nominated for the Health category in the Woman of the Year Awards 2012 at the Avisford Park Hotel on 30th November. I am so chuffed with this and humbled that someone believes I deserve this. Just to be nominated is fantastic!!!! Wish me luck.
